Mirko Abbamonte

Mirko AbbamonteMirko Abbamonte is Research Fellow of Civil Procedure Law at the LUM University of Casamassima-Bari, Italy. At the same University he is actually in charge of the courses of International and European Union Civil Procedure Law, International Civil Procedure Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Arbitration Law and Acts and Legal Opinions in Civil Practice. In 2020 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for the exercise of the functions of Associate Professor of Civil Procedure Law. Since 2012 he has been teaching Civil Procedural Law at the School of Specialization for the Legal Professions of the LUM University. He is a member of the Italian Association of Civil Procedure Scholars (AISPC) and member of the Editorial Board of the quarterly legal review Il Processo (Giuffre Francis Lefebvre). He collaborates with the Chairs of Civil Procedure Law of the University of Chieti-Pescara and the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome. He holds a Ph.D. in Judicial protection of rights, companies, administrations (University Tor Vergata of Rome). He his involved in various academic research projects and author of one monograph and over 40 articles in scholar journals and collective volumes. His research interests include: Domestic and International Arbitration, Comparative Civil Procedure Law, Summary Proceedings, Refugee Protection.
