David Fernández-Rojo

David Fernández-RojoDavid Fernández-Rojo is an assistant professor and researcher at the University of Deusto. David’s doctoral research focused on the evolution of the operational cooperation and powers conferred to the EU agencies, FRONTEX, EASO and EUROPOL.

He is particularly interested in the impact of these EU agencies’ operations, in terms of the effective and uniform national implementation of the migration, asylum and border management measures adopted at the EU level. David conducted part of his P.hD. research in the U.S. (Washington College of Law and Georgetown Law Center) and The Netherlands (University of Utrecht, RENFORCE). Prior to this, he specialized in European and International Public Law (LL.M.) in the Netherlands (Erasmus University Rotterdam, 2014, Cum Laude) and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Deusto (2013).
